Weekly Blog 4-20-15

April 20, 2015

Good afternoon!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Over the weekend, my family and I celebrated my cousin getting married.  To say the least my wife and I have a whole new appreciation for the wedding planning process...more so than we did a year ago....

There is no doubt that our students at Columbia Elementary continue to shine!  We are so proud of all of their accomplishments! On Friday afternoon, I truly had a great time celebrating with our Kindergartners and Second Graders their accomplishments of reaching their Third Nine Week's Academic and Behavioral Goals.  At 2:30pm on Friday, all of us went out on "The Big Kids Playground" and enjoyed the sunshine.  We had an absolute blast trying out all of the playground equipment including the monkey bars.  Great times!!

On Friday, it was a great pleasure to meet our upcoming Kindergartners and their parents.  These upcoming students meet "The Columbia Elementary Standard" of being "The Best and The Brightest Students."  It is great to meet and see the great potential of each and everyone of these students.  We are honored to call them Tigers!
