Good afternoon!

This has been a great week at Columbia Elementary! With the learning that is taking place in our classrooms, The Mount Vernon Aladdin Performance for Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade Students, and our continued focus on excellence, we are continuing to live in the the presence of The Best and The Brightest Students.  As I do every September, I spent a good part of this week working with our Instructional Team to develop goals focused on the academic progress of your children.  I have truly enjoyed these professional conversations.  Now, we need YOUR help in making our school, community, and world a better place.  CLICK HERE to learn more.

Tiger Up Shirts
While we have specific Fridays, we need our students to wear their Tiger Up Shirts.  Please encourage them to wear them every Friday.  I love seeing them in these their Tiger Up Shirts with a big smile!

10/5-PTO MTG at 6pm in the Library

10/7-2hr Delay-School starts at 11am-No breakfast will be served.

10/8-Yes Concert for 1st Grade at 10am

10/9-Yes Concert for 4th Grade at 10am

10/13-COSI ON WHEELS at Columbia Elementary

10/16-End of 1st Nine Weeks

10/16-Tiger Up Time-Goal Setting and Good Decision Making

10/19-Teacher Inservice Day

10/20-Start of 2nd 9wks

The Week of 10/26-Columbia Book Fair and one night TBA for Trick or Read

10/29-Trick or Read from 6 to 7pm

10/30-Halloween Classroom Parties at 2:30pm


Thank you for your continued support of students' education! It is a blessing to serve each of them! I hope to see everyone on October 5th at 6pm at our PTO Meeting in our library.
