What does it mean to "Tiger Up?"
We started off the week by getting together and discussing what it means to "Tiger Up." We wear shirts that say "Tiger Up" and we say "Tiger Up, so I felt it was very important that all students knew what it means to "Tiger Up." Last Monday morning, we spent about an hour going over the key elements of What it means to Tiger Up. We also discussed the details of our Character Education and Leadership Program for all of our students. Please feel free to enjoy the presentation I went over with our students by CLICKING HERE. Mumkin Sale:
We are in the process of raising funds to renovate our playground especially for our Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade Students. This project will cost in the neighborhood of $50,000 depending on the level of details and features that we want to add this price might increase. We will be soliciting information from our students, staff, and our PTO to get specific details of what we want to be on our new and improved playground. This playground will continue to be for our students at Columbia Elementary, but also for our community after school hours. While we are seeking grants to help fund these efforts, we are also focusing our PTO Fundraising efforts to support this renovation project.
At this time we are selling Mumkins from Foertmeyer & Sons Greenhouse. These Mumkins are fresh, premium products at a good price (CLICK HERE to see promotional video). Be sure to go to www.mumkinsale.com or see your child's Mumkin Packet that is being sent home today to place your order. Please share this information with your friends by text, email, Facebook and Twitter that we are selling Mumkins now to raise funds for a renovated playground for our students. Please send your friends and family the above link and have them check out these great products.
There will of course be prizes for our students. They must sell 15 mumkins to get into the money machine loaded with $200 in CASH. Whatever they grab they will get to keep. When they sell their first 2 items, they will win their first toy from the toy box. When they sell 4 items, they will win their second toy (Coupons for toy box included in packet).
All orders will be due to your child's teacher
by Monday September 12th.
