Weekly Message | ||||
Good evening! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend with your friends and family! This past week, I have spent a lot of time doing my required Ohio Teacher Evaluations. In addition to my nearly daily informal walkthroughs in our classrooms, I am always impressed by the great job our teachers do with your children. They are very creative and focused on improving your children's skills and abilities. I am confident with you support, hard work reinforcing content at home, and our great teachers working hard in their classrooms that we will have a strong finish to this school year. As always, feel free to contact your child's teacher with any specific academic question or concern. Please enjoy your weekly updates below. Tiger Up! Matt | ||||

![]() Remember that Open Enrollment will begin April 1st through our district's website. TIGER UP-DIVERSITY
This past Wednesday during our Tiger Up afternoon, we focused on diversity.
Our assembly was split up into two different areas of focus: cultural Diversity and the diversity
of people with different disabilities. Kenyon College's Office of Cultural Diversity brought two students
to speak about cultural diversity and college life. Following their presentation, I spoke to our students
about people with different disabilities and how they never give up to make the most out of themselves.
I think they were amazed by the number of famous people that have done great things for our country and
world despite the disability that they may have...A disability is not a barrier to greatest but it is a challenge that
can still lead to being awesome! We want each of us to embrace the diversity among all of us and
not allowing it to being a barrier in our lives.
As you see below, the students participated in different challenges to
truly understand challenges that people with disabilities have in their daily lives:
The Wheelchair Challenge through an Obstacle Course
