Tiger Newsflash: 11-20-17

Weekly Message

11-20-17

Good morning!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! This past week has been outstanding! I spent a great deal of time in each classroom this past week conducting observations for the required Ohio Teacher Evaluation Process.  This detailed process gives me the opportunity to spend an extended amount of time in each classroom seeing great teaching and exploring opportunities to polish our work with children.

I am grateful to report that although we are always trying to improve our work, I feel and am seeing evidence of a "well oiled machine" in the making from Kindergarten to Fifth Grades. We have strength and progress that has been made in each of our grade levels.   I will be taking the next couple of weeks and extending off of these observational notes to engage in productive conversations with our teachers.  While there is a time commitment needed from all parties involved, these conversations will be worthwhile.

On another note, as we will be taking time on Tuesday to honor our Columbia Elementary Family, please be sure to have a happy and safe Thanksgiving Weekend with your family.  Do not forget how thankful we are for your children and your support of our work!

Tiger Up!
Matt

  • Cut them out following the dotted lines on all 4 sides of the label - the box top company is very strict on this!
